Hi! I'm Amy, a graphic designer based in Southern California.
I am a senior at California State Polytechnic University- Pomona, earning a BFA in Visual Communication Design.
I enjoy problem-solving how to translate ideas into effective visual solutions through design. I aim to develop designs that convey accessible, meaningful, and impactful stories. 
Through my involvement with student organizations and leadership roles (namely as Creative Director of Kabayan Kaibigan), I developed strong collaborative and leadership skills while designing on behalf of an organization, all the while consistently ensuring its core values were reflected in every design decision. My work with cultural organizations in particular showed me firsthand how design can aid in an organization's growth and fostering of community. Currently, I am seeking internship and junior designer roles.
When I'm not designing, you might find me at a concert, a museum, or at home watching movies with my dog.
